Wideplink (hereinafter referred to as "our Group," "we," "us," or "our") establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of user information, including personal information of users (hereinafter referred to as "Users"), in connection with the Discord server list service "Discope" (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") provided by our Group.
Users of the Service are requested to carefully read and agree to the contents of this Policy before using the Service. By starting to use the Service, Users are deemed to have agreed to this Policy.
Article 1 (User Information We Collect and How We Collect It)
In this Policy, "User Information" means information related to the identification of Users, action logs on communication services, and other information generated or accumulated in connection with Users or their terminals, which our Group collects pursuant to this Policy. User Information that our Group collects in the Service, depending on the method of collection, includes the following:

- Inquiry Information: Information Users may provide when making inquiries to our Group (via the Discord server specified in Article 11).
- Discord User ID, Username, Server ID
- Content of the inquiry
- Account Information: For account registration and use of the Service, we obtain the following information from Discord Inc. through Discord OAuth2 authentication (

- IP address (may be collected via Cloudflare, etc.)

- Device type, OS, browser type

- Information Collected via The Service BOT (if applicable):
- If a User installs The Service BOT on their Discord server, we may collect the following information:
- ID and name of the server where the BOT is installed.
- Statistical information such as the number of members and online users of the server.
- When a message is sent within the server, only the Discord User ID of the user who sent the message.
- Important: Our Group does not collect the content of messages, voice chat audio, or the account name (username) of message senders via The Service BOT. Furthermore, we do not link the Discord User ID of a message sender collected via the BOT with the account information (email address, etc.) obtained when a User logs in to the website via Discord OAuth2.
- Information collection by the BOT is for purposes such as automatic updating of server information, to assist in monitoring spam, for statistical analysis of activity (in a non-personally identifiable form), and service improvement.

Article 2 (Purposes of Use)
Our Group uses the collected User Information for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, protect, and improve the Service (account authentication, display of server information, provision of server joining functionality, provision of BOT functionality, etc.).
- To respond to inquiries, consultations, complaints, etc., from Users (via the Discord server specified in Article 11).
- or analysis of Service usage, statistical surveys, service improvement, and development of new services (utilizing Google Analytics, etc.).
- To respond to acts violating the Terms of Service, etc., and to prevent and investigate unauthorized use (including anonymized information collected by the BOT).
- To contact Users as necessary, such as for important notices regarding the Service (we may use the email address obtained via Discord OAuth2).
Article 3 (Provision to Third Parties)
Our Group will not provide personal information among User Information to third parties (including those located outside Japan) without the prior consent of the User, except in the following cases where it is necessary to provide it to a third party:
- When based on laws and regulations.
- When it is necessary for the protection of human life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual.
- When it is particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the sound upbringing of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual.
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a state organ, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either of the foregoing in executing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the individual is likely to impede the execution of said affairs.
- When personal information is provided as a result of the succession of business in a merger or otherwise.
- When personal information is jointly used as stipulated in Article 4.
- When entrusting all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary for the achievement of the purposes of use (in this case, our Group will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over the entrusted party).
Article 4 (Joint Use)
Our Group does not currently engage in the joint use of personal information. If we engage in joint use in the future, we will notify Users in advance or announce through this Policy, etc., the fact of joint use, the items of personal information to be jointly used, the scope of joint users, the purposes of use by joint users, and the name of the individual or entity responsible for the management of said personal information.
Article 5 (User Rights (Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, etc.))
Users may, in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information, request notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of provision to third parties (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Disclosure, etc.") of their personal information held by our Group. Users residing in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland have rights under the GDPR, etc. (right of access, right to rectification, right to erasure (right to be forgotten), right to restriction of processing, right to data portability, right to object, etc.). Users residing in California have rights under the CCPA/CPRA.
If you wish to make a request for Disclosure, etc., or exercise rights based on your jurisdiction (including requests for deletion via the website), please contact us via the contact point (our Group's designated Discord server) specified in Article 11, or follow the prescribed procedures on the Service. After confirming that the request is from the individual through an appropriate method, we will respond appropriately in accordance with laws and regulations. (Please note that, depending on the nature of the information or legal requirements, we may not be able to comply with your request.)
However, if any of the following apply, our Group may, in accordance with laws, etc., retain all or part of the necessary User Information (especially identification information, etc.) without deleting it, even if a deletion request is made by the User:
- When retention is necessary to comply with legal obligations.
- In the case of identification information (Discord User ID, server ID, etc.) related to Users or servers that have been subjected to measures such as account suspension or server listing suspension based on the Service's Terms of Service, when retention is necessary for a required period to prevent unauthorized use, maintain the sound operation of the Service, or for future dispute resolution (see Terms of Service, Article 6, Paragraph 5 and Article 21, Paragraph 4).
- In the case of information such as User IDs included in statistical data collected via The Service BOT, etc., which cannot identify a specific individual or is not linked to other personal information, when retention is necessary to maintain the continuity of statistics or the accuracy of analysis. (Retention in this case will be kept to a minimum from a personal information protection perspective, and will not be used for unintended purposes.)
Article 6 (Use of Cookies and Other Technologies)
- The Service may use cookies and similar technologies to improve user convenience, understand usage status, ensure security, measure advertising effectiveness, etc. Users can disable cookies by changing their web browser settings. However, if cookies are disabled, some features of the Service may not be available.
- Our Group uses the following third-party services to provide, improve, and analyze the Service. These service providers may also collect and use User Information via cookies, etc. For information collected, purposes of use, opt-out procedures, etc., please check the privacy policies, etc., of each service provider.

Article 7 (Regarding Personal Information of Users Under 13 Years of Age)
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. Our Group does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the Service without the consent of a parent or legal guardian. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without the consent of a parent or legal guardian, we will promptly delete said information.
Article 8 (Retention Period of Personal Information)
Our Group will retain User Information for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of use, or for the period stipulated by applicable laws, etc. If a deletion request is made by a User, we will, in principle, promptly erase the User Information; however, if the exceptional circumstances stipulated in Article 5 (legal obligations, retention of IDs for fraud prevention, retention of non-identifiable IDs in statistical data, etc.) apply, necessary information may be retained for a prescribed period. Article 9 (International Data Transfers)
Our Group is based in Japan, but to provide and maintain the Service, User Information may be processed and stored on servers located outside of Japan (e.g., use of cloud services). Also, as the Service may be used by Users worldwide, User Information may be transferred outside the User's country of residence. When transferring User Information outside of Japan, our Group strives to take appropriate protective measures required by applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR), including concluding standard contractual clauses or transferring based on adequacy decisions.
- Cloudflare: The Service uses Cloudflare, and traffic is processed through Cloudflare's global network. This may result in User Information being routed through or cached on servers around the world.
- Google Analytics: Usage data is processed by Google Inc. on servers including those in the United States.
Article 10 (Modification of this Policy)
Our Group may change the content of this Policy from time to time due to changes in laws, business content, User requests, etc. The modified Privacy Policy shall become effective from the time it is posted on the Site.
