Community Guidelines

These guidelines outline the matters that all users of Discope are requested to comply with to ensure safe and comfortable use for everyone. We ask for your understanding and cooperation with these guidelines to maintain an environment where all users, including those searching for servers and those listing servers, respect each other and can use the service with peace of mind. Our Group supports everyone's fan activities for Discope and its characters. When engaging in derivative works (fan art, etc.), please check our separately established "Derivative Works Guidelines" and enjoy creating within the rules.

This guideline applies in conjunction with the Discope Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Please ensure you review these documents as well. Furthermore, compliance with Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines is a prerequisite for using our Service. Servers that violate Discord's terms will not be permitted on Discope.

Fundamental Principles

• Mutual Respect: Our community consists of users from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Please interact with others considerately and with respect for their views
• Responsible Conduct: We expect all users, especially those who list and operate servers, to act responsibly towards their server and its community members.
• Compliance with Laws and Rules: Please use the Service in compliance with the laws of Japan, Discord's rules, and these Community Guidelines and related terms.

Prohibited Servers and Content

The listing of servers containing the following content, or the posting/transmission of related information on the Service, is strictly prohibited. If such violations are confirmed, our Group may, without prior notice, take measures such as removing the listing, suspending or deleting the account.

• Protection of Minors
  • 13세 미만의 이용자를 위한 서버: Discord의 이용약관에 의거해, 13세 미만의 이용자를 대상으로 하는 서버의 게시는 금지되어 있습니다.
  • No Sexual Content or Exploitation Involving Minors: Any sexual content involving individuals under 18 (regardless of whether it's real or illustrated), sexual solicitation of minors, grooming behavior, or servers that promote or facilitate such content are strictly prohibited. Furthermore, users under 18 are prohibited from operating or listing servers that primarily feature adult content (including sexual themes).
  • No Real-World Encounter Purposes: Servers whose primary purpose is to facilitate real-world encounters (including but not limited to dating, sexual encounters, or financially compensated relationships) are prohibited, regardless of age.
• Compliance with Laws and Terms of Service
  • No Illegal Activities or Promotion Thereof: Servers that engage in or promote activities prohibited by Japanese law or other applicable laws (e.g., illegal drug trade, sale of illegal goods) are prohibited.
  • Respect Intellectual Property Rights: Servers that infringe upon intellectual property rights such as copyrights or trademarks, for example, by distributing pirated software, movies, music, books, games, providing information on how to obtain them, or promoting the unauthorized use of content, are prohibited.
  • No Transactions Involving Real Currency (General Rule): Servers whose primary purpose is the buying or selling of goods or services using real currency, electronic money (RMT - Real Money Trading), etc., are prohibited, unless explicitly permitted by our Group.
  • Do Not Promote Violations of Other Services' Terms: Servers that advertise, solicit, or promote actions prohibited by the terms of service of other platforms or services (e.g., selling game accounts) are prohibited.
  • Adhere to Discord and Other Service Terms: Servers that do not comply with Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, or the terms of any games or third-party services related to the server, are not permitted. This includes servers operating under policies like "no rules" or "anarchy" that imply non-compliance.
  • No Real-World Gambling: Servers whose purpose is or which promote gambling with real money or assets are prohibited. (This excludes simulated gambling using only in-game currency.)
  • No COPPA Violations: Servers that attempt to improperly collect personal information from children under 13 in a manner that violates the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) are prohibited.
• Ensuring Safety and a Healthy Environment
  • No Raids or Harassment: Servers whose purpose is to recruit members for, plan, or facilitate harassment (raids) against specific Discord servers or other disruptive activities are prohibited.
  • No Discrimination or Hate Speech: Servers containing discriminatory remarks or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, medical condition, disability, or other specific attributes, or content that promotes such, are prohibited.
  • Do Not Promote Harm to Life or Body: Servers containing content that encourages, glorifies, or provides specific methods for suicide, homicide, self-harm, or violence against others, or any other dangerous content that threatens life or physical safety, are prohibited.
  • No Fraud or Malicious Acts: Servers containing content related to deceptive practices, fraudulent solicitations, attempts to illicitly obtain personal or authentication information (phishing), promotion or information sharing regarding cyber-attacks like DDoS, or promotion of academic dishonesty (e.g., assignment completion services) are prohibited.
  • No Improper Handling of Personal Information: Servers that disclose others' personal information (name, contact details, address, social media accounts, etc.) without their consent, or unfairly collect such information, are prohibited.
  • Infringement of Our Group's or Third-Party Rights: Acts that infringe, or are likely to infringe, upon the copyrights, trademark rights, or other intellectual property rights of our Group or third parties. This includes, but is not limited to, falsely presenting our Group's original characters or content as one's own work for publication or distribution (i.e., claiming authorship), or using them for commercial purposes without authorization.
• No Misuse of This Service
  • No Spam or Manipulative Behavior: The misuse of tags (e.g., applying numerous irrelevant tags), intentionally creating duplicate or very similar server listings, or any other abuse of the Service's features to unfairly gain attention is prohibited.
  • No Impersonation: Listing servers in a way that impersonates other well-known servers, individuals, or organizations, thereby causing misunderstanding, is prohibited.
• Rules for Specific Content (Age Restrictions, etc.)

  If your server primarily deals with the types of content listed below, you must appropriately set the "Recommended Age" for your server listing and, where applicable, accurately set (e.g., "Adult Content") to true. If these settings are deemed inappropriate or are missing, our Group may suspend or remove the listing.

  • Adult Content (Sexual Expressions, etc.):
    • If your server primarily features17 sexually explicit content targeted at adults (18 years or older), or if the nature of the server is otherwise considered unsuitable for users under 18, you must set the "Recommended Age: 18+" and use the "Adult Content" feature.
    • Promoting or primarily featuring sexual content without these settings is prohibited. (Note: Sexual content targeting minors is strictly prohibited regardless of any age settings.)
  • Regulated Goods (Tobacco, Alcohol, etc.):
    • If your server primarily focuses on discussions related to tobacco or alcohol (e.g., product reviews, general discussion), items whose purchase or consumption is restricted to individuals aged 20 or older in Japan, you must set the "Recommended Age: 20+". Content that encourages underage drinking or smoking is prohibited.
  • Violent Expressions:
    • If your server primarily features content with strong violent depictions or extreme expressions, typically subject to age restrictions like "R18" in movies or games, you must set the "Recommended Age: 18+". Content that glorifies or promotes real-world violence is prohibited.
  • Firearms (Hobby Use):
    • If your server primarily focuses on discussions related to hobbyist firearms (e.g., airsoft guns, model guns, survival games), you must set the "Recommended Age: 18+".
    • Important: Any discussion or promotion of real firearms possession, modification, illegal trafficking, or any other illegal activities related to firearms is strictly prohibited, regardless of age settings.
• Rules for Public Server Information (Name, Icon, Banner, etc.)
  • Information publicly displayed for your server on our Service (including but not limited to server name, icon, invitation banner, custom emoji previews) must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines and use language and media appropriate for all ages (all-ages content).
  • The use of obscene, excessively violent, discriminatory, or other inappropriate expressions or images (as outlined in these guidelines) for server names, icons, banners, etc., is prohibited.
  • This rule applies exclusively to the information displayed to users on our Service's website. Content within your Discord server itself, such as channel names, role names, posts, or custom emojis used internally, is outside the scope of this Service's rules. For issues within a server, please contact Discord Inc. directly.
  • Important: Even for servers tagged as "Adult Content" or with a "Recommended Age: 18+", the server name, icon, banner, and other information publicly displayed on our Service must still be all-ages appropriate, as stated above.
• Accuracy of Listed Information
  • When listing your server, please describe its content, purpose, and rules accurately and clearly.
  • Do not use descriptions that intentionally hide content prohibited by these guidelines or mislead users.
  • Keywords should accurately reflect the primary content and themes of your server.
• Responding to Guideline Violations
  • If you find a server that you believe violates these guidelines, we would appreciate it if you could report it via our Discord Support Server.
  • If a violation is confirmed, or if our Group deems it detrimental to the sound operation of the Service, our Group, at its sole discretion, will take measures without prior notice, such as suspending or removing the server listing, modifying information, or restricting the associated account (temporarily or permanently).
  • Even for matters not explicitly stated in these guidelines, our Group may take similar measures if it reasonably determines an action to be inappropriate in light of the purpose and objectives of the Service.

Closing Remarks

These guidelines may be revised without prior notice in response to changes in laws, service content, etc. When using the Service, we recommend that you periodically check the latest guidelines.
